To make your move to Berlin a smooth one, I have put together the “most wanted” in terms of relocation needs for you to choose from:

• Area Orientation Tour (up to three hours)
• Home Search I – small package, up to 5 apartments or houses
• Home Search II – full package, up to 10 apartments or houses
• Immigration – work and residence permits
• Authority Services
• School Tour

The home search packages are made up of apartments or houses (furnished or unfurnished) that match your individual search profile as closely as possible. I will research all available listings and once a selection has been made, I will take you on a house hunting tour to view the properties you have chosen. When a decision has been made, I will provide a general translation of the lease and will guide you through the entire rental process up to the final handing over of the keys.

Immigration procedures for obtaining a work permit and residency permits for you and your family members include filing and processing the necessary paperwork and finally picking up permits from the local authorities. This will be handled in close cooperation with your employer.

Handling your settling-in means that I will take care of your internet, telephone, cable TV requirements, as well as your utilities such as gas, electricity, water, garbage, or anything else you may require assistance with.

Registration with the local authority, getting a tax ID, opening of a bank account, registering a vehicle as well as applying for child benefit (Kindergeld) and day care vouchers etc. are included in the bureaucratic services package. If you require anything else, let me know.

The school tour package includes research of appropriate German, international, or bilingual schools (private and public), setting up of appointments with principals and teachers, taking tours of the schools, and helping with the application process.
